Learn the alternative photography technique of cyanotypes, prints developed by sunlight. In this workshop you will:
-decide on a composition using floral and natural materials that we forage on a centering nature walk
-learn to mix developer and vary the types of paper to use with the prints
-expose print to sun and wash
-learn some texturing and layering techniques with such things as soap bubbles and inks
-embellish the print watercolors, encaustic medium and oils. Each participant will finish with at least two finished prints of 8.5X11.
Individual sessions or small groups: $35 all materials included plus instruction by a professional artist and professor.
