Creativity and Health Go Hand in Hand!

At-risk teens find themselves and their purpose through art activities geared for that intention in NYC.

Vision

Atelier Eirene exists to bring balance, well-being, and connection in a disconnected, frantic world. By unleashing each individual’s creativity through the healing power of nature and the expressive arts, I work to recover each person’s authentic self  and reconnect to his or her life’s purpose; to bring healing, deepen intra- and inter-personal understanding, and the joy of creation and play; to promote healthy living.

Mission

Atelier Eirene brings mindfulness, embodiment, and creativity through various expressive arts practices inspired by nature to cultivate well-being, to increase self-awareness and build community.  I design and facilitate expressive arts workshops, run art and nature retreats on the Greek islands, and create media such as books, photography, paintings, and nature-inspired products. I use powerful archetypes from Greek mythology and the Eastern Orthodox faith tradition to bring transformative healing, self-esteem, self-acceptance, and empowerment to individuals and groups.  Creativity in the service of health.

Medical practitioners get in touch with the right-hemisphere of their mind during an expressive arts workshop in Chicago.
