For the last week in December Atelier Eirene joined forced with the Astoria Art Center to host the first ever LOCAL ASTORIA ARTIST SHOWCASE! This was a landmark event and vibrant celebration of art and community. A first because it is the first real gallery and creative space on this side of Broadway. We were able to bring together 23 local artists in a show that featured photography, ceramics, oils, prints, encaustic, mixed media. It was a resounding success! (Much work was sold too.)

Our upcoming events promise to be as inviting, stimulating, and collaborative. We want to make Atelier Eirene and Astoria Art Center a sort of salon where artists can congregate to share work, share views, share company. Whether you're an artist or an art enthusiast, you're invited to partake in this enriching experience.
